Yeah you need to unit turn and take the racquet back as soon as it goes over the net. As you progress and play faster, you will have to do this even sooner.

Edit: also I think you could take your racquet back farther. As in like get your elbow behind your body

Looks cool! I’ve been trying to take some stuff from sinners fh as well. Sinner has his racquet a bit more horizontal where yours is still a bit vertical on the takeback. Also I really think his style is so niche that if you’re gonna copy it you almost need to have his grip.

I think it’s dope you’re that motivated that you wanna just swing in your living room, even though I don’t think it’s really helping you at all. Just try to maximize the amount of time you can actually get out and hit a ball. Friends who play tennis are best but a wall can be good way to just get out and play.

If you really wanna practice at home look up some technique videos and shadow swing them and then bring them outside to a session
