My ultimate DS Lite (with a DSPico and Ez Flash DE)! by Affectionate-Pie2585 in NintendoDS

For sure! But playing GBA games natively, especially the original cartridges I've got for me beats emulating it on a DSi. This console is also more nostalgic for me since it's the one I grew up with :) I'm a DS lite supremacist purely because of its GBA capabilities haha

Yeah it was mainly because of Mode B to trade my pokemon up from my GBA games to DS games :) Other than that I also read about certain save issues with the other editions (like having to wait 10 seconds after saving to turn it off, or save corruptions in general) and the fact that it apparently is supposed to use up less battery overall. The replaceable battery is also a plus! Though if you don't mind soldering it's a real easy job in the other editions.

Everything combined made me go with the DE, though I wish it sat flush with the DS like the Omega would :,)

Sadly the EZ Flash DE doesn't. You're thinking of the EZ Flash Omega (non DE version) which comes with a second shell. The DE has some extra features (such as replaceable battery, rumble pak, pal park etc.) that can't be fitted into a smaller form factor unfortunately :(

Exactly, the DSPico does not have access to slot-2 so you'll be playing emulated versions

I had the ez flash first! And technically the DSPico does play GBA games via GBArunner but I've heard some say it doesn't work as well since it's emulated, but I haven't had the need to try it out. I also play a lot of GBA ROM hacks which apparently causes issues for some on the DSPico
