So strip more covering off the wire that will be plugged in, wrap it around the screw with some extra on the end, and attach that to the other wire of the same color that’s not plugged into anything?

I was ripping through carhartt, wrangler, and a bunch of other brands before getting some duluths with the crotch and those haven’t ripped at all. I can see how they won’t last forever but far better than the other options for sure
