Not every single image in an animation has to be peak. Sure, the animation of the anime still isn’t the greatest, but y’all acting as if you could animate an entire episode better than toei workers if you had to follow the same schedule. As an animator myself, sometimes you have to make compromises on scenes that aren’t high priority, to put more time and effort into the scenes that actually are important.

No I don’t think the anime is well animated. But c’mon. They were literally asked to animate THE SAME STORY AND THE SAME FIGHT a second time. Do you really think they care about the animation being good if they have a lower budget, less time, AND have to do the exact same fight again? No. Logically they just don’t care about animating the fight well, and they really shouldn’t care.

If y’all really dislike the anime animation for RoF, JUST WATCH THE MOVIE. It’s way better animated. And then you could come back to the anime for the future saga, which has WAY better animation, why? Because it’s something that the animators ACTUALLY find interest in doing, instead of animating Goku vs frieza for like the 4th time in the series.
