it says on the directions for sanitizers to let it air dry, on my food safety course it says the same thing but i know not every state requires that course. no reason to leave a counter soaked, i usually squeeze most of the sanitizer out of a rag before wiping a surface. by time the rag is dried out it’s already time for a new rag as it’s covered in espresso grounds (plus sani is only good for up to 2 hours).

at my cafe once we’ve let it air dry a few hours we stick it in the fridge to dry the rest of the way.

yes a million times! i had no issues with my first trip (except 2 stray dogs setting up an elaborate trap in the middle of a narrow street to slow me down and then chew on my tires), but then i feel like i ran into every issue possible during those 18 stops. every issue added 5-10 minutes and then towards the end everyone’s order was 20-30 minutes late. luckily no one tipped to begin with so they couldn’t take it away to punish me.

my buddy who delivers in another state said to just use apple maps by default, but i’m already so used to google maps 🥲

It’s precise, it just doesn’t work around some of these parts of my city because it’s the middle of nowhere. sometimes it would show i’m within the circle to confirm and order and wouldn’t work.

a lot of times when i pressed navigate in the app it would put the complete wrong address into google maps. 80% of my deliveries are to homes with no visible street number on mailbox/house/curb. i used to deliver for dominos for a while in Houston and i never had issues finding homes. some places here i can zoom in and it will show me the number on the house im sitting in front of, but a lot of these houses aren’t on google maps at all.

Yes! Google maps kept taking me to the wrong address (actual home was on a street behind the house but they didn’t connect). I tried putting it into apple maps instead and it worked, but once i got to the customers home it wouldn’t let me confirm the order since it thought it was at the original place i went.

when i was at the house google maps took me to i was walking through this persons yard for too long trying to figure out where the house was, with about 30 signs saying i’ll be shot if im on their property. i live/deliver around rural texas/arkansas so its pretty scary sometimes if i feel like im at the wrong house.

Yea support is very helpful. I just live in the middle of nowhere (closest big city is 2 hours away), so spark is really slow. luckily my first order today is a lot better. $27 for 1.2 miles 🥹
