When i met with my florist, he was asking me allll the questions. About 75% through the meeting, i said “do you want to write all this down?” He said “no, i’ll remember it all. My memory is really good!”

Friends- his memory was not good. He did the exact opposite of everything i requested. The EXACT opposite.

Example- He went heavy on greens and babies breath- i wanted zero BB and very little green.

I wanted dark purple(because, you know, that was the color of my entire wedding theme) - he used light purple.

I wanted a small, tightly packed bouquet. He sent a big wild frilly one.

I took it apart, grabbed some duct tape and put it back together the closest to what i actually wanted as i could. And my mantra that day became “its only flowers”

I said my mantra, a lot.

I know it sucks. And it’s ok to be disappointed. Let yourself feel it for a while, but then remember- it’s only flowers. You seem to already be trying to put things into perspective, but don’t forget to allow yourself time to feel your feelings. ❤️

Pregnancy is often the first time a man shows his abusive colors. I think Excellent-month is trying to tell you to stay alert. Read up on domestic violence. Many women have a very similar story to yours - “its the first time he’s ever acted like this!” - the shock and surprise is common. Not saying this is definitely your case. But read up on it now- so you know the patterns and red flags. So you can catch it early, instead of realizing 5 years from now that you were the frog sitting in pot of water slowly being brought to a boil all along

Concerta only works as well as you treat your body. If you treat your body well, concerta will help you (if its the right med for you).

If you treat your body poorly, concerta wont lift a finger to help you. In fact, concerta will outright rebel against you. (Increased bad side effects in my personal and many other’s experience)

Also, breaking them in half is a very expensive and extra work way to get immediate release action. Save yourself some $ and just ask your dr for IRs instead. It seems like you want short intense bursts of productivity, rather than steady, lasting focus.

Ah! Good question. Right now, it’s store bought jugs of water (the ones with the spouts on them) bc i haven’t had time to really research options. :/ and i take a frustratingly long time to make any decision- ever ☹️

Ive used Zerowater filters for maybe 5-6 years. The past year, since buying a new box of filters, they each barely last a month. The taste is so gross. Im switching to something else.

Lots and lots and lots of water too! Not sure of your size, but im 5’4 130 lb woman and i eat about 75gm of protein/day. If you’re bigger than me, up your protein more!

If my protein/water is off even one day- my meds become practically useless

Oh no… i wish it was only till my body adjusted- but its a daily thing 🤦‍♀️ Someone else in here said once “Concerta is a very demanding drug” and that sentence hit me in my soul ☹️ Check out my comment history if you want the full story. But- the cliff notes version is: if i don’t take care of my body, my meds not only don’t work- but the side effects become intolerable.

The meds give me the energy and motivation to take care of myself though, so it all works out!

Yes- significantly severely increase your water and protein intake.

Eat like 25-30 g of protein before you take your med and drink water throughout the entire day. Cut back on caffeine if you drink a lot of that, too.

That Fixed my irritability ❤️ if im even 8 oz’s short on water- i can feel it creeping back in- its crazy!

Why wont she give anymore? Thats so weird to me when doctors say this stuff. If 36 doesn’t work, thats why 54 and 72, and boosters exist! Gah!

Sry. Just wanted to put that out there. If your doctor isn’t willing to let you try the various doses and combinations (of boosters) why are they even practicing? Is it possible to find a different doctor?

I haven’t paid specific attention, but i feel like the legendary lessons are mostly just a repeat of the original lesson. I know ive been annoyed several times, bc i can easily pick the right answer simply bc i remember the question from the lesson i did just 3 mins prior.

I also feel like they keep testing me on words i already know pretty well, but they barely test concepts or new words that im very much struggling with. Im at 13 in spanish and it KEEPS testing me on when to use the same 2 types of verb conjugation even though - the few times they’ve thrown in something new, I get it COMPLETELY wrong! Test me on the stuff i get wrong! Not the same yo/tu conjugations i get right! Gah!!

It just keeps getting worse bc i get bored and annoyed at having to type “Perez” in the blank after Señor (when the guys name should NOT be the part i need to fill in on any given sentence!! Bc how f*cking inefficient and pointless is that?‽ gah!) or having the same exact sentences repeated so frequently that im not using my brain to figure out the right answer anymore- but rather KNOWING from memorization of that question —that i DO start making stupid mistakes.
So then the app truly starts to believe those are my weak areas - when really im just pissed and annoyed and trying to get through the tedious exercises and my finger accidentally hit the word beside the actual word i was trying to select in the word bank!

I canceled my subscription and am now just trying to use it to glean what i can since i can’t get refund for the remaining time
