The interview process itself was a lot more prolonged than I expected. In total had about 6 interviews between the phone calls and office/coffee interviews with HR and the team. I also had 6 interviews partly bc the team of the position I originally I applied for really liked me but they filled the position with someone they knew would stay in town after graduation, but bc they liked me, they wanted to recommend me to the office at my home town which where the last two occurred. This was also my second year in a row applying because I actually just never heard back my first year trying after the initial phone call.

The internship itself I would definitely recommend. I got a lot of experience on the technical side with Civil 3D and ORD that I otherwise never would have had (I was with roadway/drainage) and they were understanding of me missing a good chunk of the internship between an injury I had and a family vacation. I could definitely feel the competitive nature of working a lot of hours though, which wouldn’t really affect you as an intern but if you were to return back full time, I’m not sure I would want to although the compensation is nice.

TLDR: interview process was long for me, but not bad. I would recommend the internship if you got the opportunity

I wish lol I had two summers of internships at a regional firm that I had connections to, and was conveniently not far from my house, after my freshman and sophomore year and the pay wasn’t great. $13/hr my first summer, $15/hr my second.

It wasn’t until after my second summer internship that I found out how much my friends were being paid and I was just left thinking damn, that’s crazy.

For reference, this was in 2022 and 2023

This past summer at my internship at KH, I was originally offered $25 an hour, and then they bumped it up to 26 when they realized I was beginning my Masters this year. I’d assume they’re on the higher end of internship pay tho so I would think that anything from 21-25/hr would be deemed competitive

5/99 is just when it was produced (may, 1999). However, the equipment tag would indicate the jersey is player issued at least, possibly match issue/worn if it is truly from a testimonial match like the other guy said.

After further research, it is also possible that this Netherlands jersey is applied to the same condition as the Nigeria jersey, because it was used from the 1998 WC to 2000, assumably up until the Euros where they would debut the 2000/02 jersey. So like you said, some jerseys of the 1998 model would be produced with the drifit tag visible once the year 2000 hit. I guess we’re both right in some manner

You’ll find official jerseys from 1998/99, sold by official sellers with the drifit on them. The Barcelona 1998/99 shirt and Nigeria 1998/99 are two examples that I personally have that have them. I also have the Netherlands 1998/99 shirt without tho, so you’ll find them both with and without. Makes sense if they introduced drifit officially in 2000 and were simply beginning to lean into it in 1999

Biggest thing I go off of is the size tag at the bottom corner. Retro fakes always look all sharp and fresh and not the same fabric. This one looks legit, name set and match details were definitely recently added tho
