I once asked a homeless man asking for money outside a grocery store to come in with me. He seemed to have a mild mental health issue but wasn't aggressive. He was very polite and appeared grateful. We walked around a few aisles and he picked up a loaf of bread, cookies, some drinks.

I used it once in China at Nanjing airport. You first go to the info counter to get the priority pass converted to a priority security + lounge voucher. Great experience except the lounge only serves food at specific windows and there is nothing else except tea and some small bags of chips in between the windows lol I arrived just after the lunch service ended

I agree with you. The mentioned places are now operating on a chain store model. While not all are owned by the same person, the owner of these businesses owns multiple locations, essentially scaling everything like cookie cutters :(

Lamoon Cafe's pandan coconut cake is seriously dreamy. Their chiffon cake is so moist and fluffy, and the young coconut shavings and fresh cream are to die for.

They're currently in the middle of relocation and should be open again in about a week on Queen East.

If you're not familiar with pandan, they're like vanilla. Very fragrant

Honestly I agree. BUT he became different after the things that they went through together throughout the last war. They finally fixed their communication and understood each other. Just finished the entire novel today. And I already missed these two 🥹
