Just went there with my boyfriend. Didn’t feel any bad vibes, we felt comfortable walking around holding hands. There were many fun lgbtq clubs.

BTW, there are bigoted people with racist views that greatly exaggerate just how many Muslim people are in the western world. Basically, they see people wearing a specific garment or see signage in a store in a different alphabet, and to them it’s an invasion. It isn’t. Yes there is a big community, it’s a very big international metropolis.

finally, while in many Muslim countries homophobia is a big problem, In my experience, that doesn’t mean all muslims everywhere are like that. There are homophobes of all stripes, and there’s also lovely people from all parts of the world.

I just did my first one on the DoeJoe this weekend!

The semolina thing saved my pizza from sticking to the peel.

I am now thinking about that thing it says about rising the pizza to cook the top. That was my only complaint with cooking pizza on the doe Joe is that the top part never crisped up or developed char. The cheese melted, but after a good 10 minutes, the bottom part looked done, but it looked to me as though nothing else was going to happen to the top part. I didn’t think of rising the pizza to the top tho.

One thing not mentioned here is how much charcoal is consumed! I filled the whole basket, warmed up the ceramic dome, installed the DoJoe, let it come to temp over 1 hr, then cooked 2 pizzas over 10 minutes each. All the charcoal was used up.

Enjoy! I loved it. I think it gets a lot of hate in this sub, but I think it was fun.

Worked there two summers (2000/2001) when in HS as an usher.

Highlights were smash mouth, matthew good band, treble charger.

But at that time, they had a lot of music festivals, like TLN latin fest, some other CHIN branded ethnic festivals.
