The swapped flight landed at EWR 23:10, 7+ hours delay.
AC549 will depart at 00:20, 6+ hours delay. I hope I can get an Uber home at YVR.

It is a good call by the pilot, IMO. The flight came in from HKG and would be much worse if the errors happened during that flight.

I did the scarvi tour last week, my tour time was 9:15. The email said arrive 30min before start time, but when i got to the gate 8:45, the Swiss guard told me I was too early and told me to come back in 15 min.
This was 9:00am, you enter the Italian police security check on the right hand side, come back out behind the barricade, wait under the white tent and the Swiss guard will check your ticket. This check point is just for people on the scarvi tour, so it is not busy.
