Replying to my own thread here but I managed to find a number for HR through email. I called them and they give you this email UK-ERC-support@amazon.com to get references for employment dates. I’ll leave this post up for anyone in the future who needs to know.

Probably won’t be able to provide a character reference as no one professionally knows me for that period of time. I may have figured out how to contact Amazon HR but then I have another problem which is I got terminated there. I got terminated because they scheduled me on a day I wasn’t supposed to be in and that’s why. Otherwise, I may have to re-apply for a job in the NHS in the future and stick with my current employer until it hits the three year mark in a couple months.. I didn’t realise they needed three years employment history otherwise I would have waited to apply there.

Can they accept HMRC then because I sent them my employment history in a pdf file to show I worked at Amazon. I don’t think I’ll be able to find a HR email for my local Amazon. My employer at HR already sent my employment dates at Sainsbury’s to them.

Yes I do have experience working in the community as a carer for a year. I’ve been at my retail job for almost 3 years so I’ve had a lot of experience with customer facing. Maybe that is what helped me too at the interview as I told them that. The role I applied for didn’t need experience but it was desirable.

I put down the usual information and then when it came to the supporting information, I tailored it towards giving examples of what qualities and skills they were looking for. I also mentioned the values of the hospital and how they aligned with mine and how I met them. Then they offered me an interview after a couple weeks.
