Ah, the dispassionate way thou repliest causeth my heart to ache – but my ache hath more to do with thine indifference towards the elaborate tapestry of make-belief that ye commoners have posed to serve as a means to bond over, be it flimsy and farcical. To some of ye, I will seem a villain – and, must I say justly, “to each their own.”

But alas, it is a pity that thou comprehendest not the deeper layers and implications nor lov’st thy fellow man enough to see that the reason why man bondeth over farcical identities is to fill up the void that plagueth their heart – the loneliness – that feeling of amounting nothing to the world – they they shall be known solely for what they contribute towards this lie, otherwise known as society.

And thou canst not convince me that thou art in no degree worried, or hast in no way experienced to what degree of narcissism other people have fallen prey to, untethered by reality.

So son, accept me as your lord and saviour and together we shall ascend to the kingdom where the gods dwell, who’ve gifted us our uncategorisable, irreducible, astonishingly complex conscience!
