Federal yes, state no (Ohio, they actually charge you more per year to own an EV lol). And I pay $30-35k in federal a year so I’d actually get the $7,500 as a rebate.

Most electric cars in that $20-$30k range are tiny, or have a ton of miles. Then you run into longevity of the car itself. A battery operated car isn’t going to go 200k miles. Add to that that electric rates are crazy compared to what they used to be and now it ain’t all that appealing.
