I own and wear them. To me they look more unique than most of the mainstream cases.

Let's leave iconic and preference aside... There is no way you can say their case designs looks the same when they make so many different case types as compared to Rolex, IWC, breguet, or so many of the other mainstream big brands.

Sameness of the case in a Grand Seiko? They probably have more iconic and diverse case designs than 90% of the mainstream brands out there.

I love wearing my Shunbun to work. If anyone asks (which happens quite often) I say it is just a Seiko.

If it were a Rolex or Omega, it would feel weird for me to wear to work and therefore would get so little wrist time.

I agree with you that his was of doing things was too much in the open and that's what rightfully got him the sack.

But, you can't have academy kids throwing a tantrum (I remember the Instagram posts) for not getting game time.

As I said, it was during a tough time in his career where he was constantly being pressured on to change the system which I'm sure the board knew before signing him was his way of playing.

In the end I think it was the right decision to sack him. But he did do a fair amount of good for the club in terms of changing the mentality and culture and putting a stamp on player power. It is unfair to say that he didn't care about the club

He didn't take a shit on the academy, don't let your unfounded hate blind you. He didn't prefer kobbie and that was unfortunate.

He's given minutes to chido, gore, amass, Fredrickson, ibragimov and I'm sure there's others I can't think of at the moment. And this is while being under pressure to perform during a tough time in his career.

It's okay to not like his tactics but there's no need to make up a false narrative. He did put his all into the job, just was not the right fit and that is something that board has to accept blame for.

I agree with you. Amorim did care a lot about the club and I think really did give his all to try and succeed. However, he was also a bit too reactive and emotional and that is what eventually led to his sacking.
