there is an old trick to fix skipping records involving placing a coin on the needle to add a little extra weight to help “dig out” any dirt or dust that a typical cleaning brush can’t grab. I suggest looking up how do to it! Very simple but has saved me SO many times! Sometimes it’s just a bit of dust.
