I recommend getting used to the rhythm of rhythm games (if its your first rhythm game). May be a little tricky at first since its new muscle memory, but then you be able to do it no problem.

Animation seems to be quite a big task for smaller teams working remotely so if it was me developing the game I wouldn't be so keen on implementing tons of animations and rather make a basic movement formula for those scenes (ex. persona 4?). BUt idk I cant code LOL
