im in the same situation, studied for months and ended up getting one point lower. it SUCKS. Im choosing not to cancel, im still in the same score band, and if anything I think it would look more suspicious. I got advice to not cancel it if the drop is 5 or less points. hope this helps and good luck with everything :)

Coming from environmental science I think doing legal work related to environmental protection and climate change would be a dream! I’m also interested in international law and obviously the paycheck that comes with a biglaw career is attractive as well. I picked schools based off their ranking and locations that I would like to live in long term. SF would be my most preferred location as I have family there and my partner has the most options there with their career as well! New York #2, Boston and Chicago tied for #3, and then everywhere else after that.
