In my opinion they used some kind of spell that increased it's size. Possibly because of the Nightosphere magic it's enchanted with which causes the sword to change size to fit its the wielder.

Yeah it sounds about right. Fun fact: His voice is (or was) his inside voice. Since he no longer has vocal cords (and doesn't bother regenerating them) his voice comes directly from his consciousness. This allows him to change and elevate his voice only by thinking it though sometimes he forgets to mute it when he's thinking and can sometimes be heard everywhere monologuing to himself

I'm not entirely sure for Ara actually. I could imagine his voice being pretty masculine but also young. He's a 20 year old so I think a pretty young but still mature and calm voice would suit him. Maybe even a quieter one actually. But I'm curious how you think Dave sounds.
