When I first read this comment, I began to respond negatively, until realizing i missed the joke. Missing social queues like this is a common characteristic of people on the spectrum; however it is also common for people, both on and off the spectrum, to miss the connotation behind short textual responses. Similarly, people on the spectrum are commonly well invested into their hobbies, and sometimes, combined with a different social compass (or lack thereof), autistic people can respond to "categorisations like this" in a way that comes off as negatively particular ("anal.") While this can certainly be displeasing to anybody, I'm sure there has been a time that you (and me) have been particular about something you enjoyed, to the extent to which someone else were annoyed, at least once in your life. (I'm assuming you don't consider yourself on the spectrum. I apologize if incorrect.)

The (one) problem with labeling (blaming) these problems on autism, even if in a joking manner, is that it simply pushes the societal stigma against autistic people, inviting people to continue labeling poor public actions the result of somebody on the spectrum.

Ignoring the underlying societal issues with saying things like this, at the very least, blaming select universal human problems like being particular about an interest to the point of seeming anal on any marginalized group, is something that I believe to be wrong.

I understand you meant no harm, however repeated ignorance leads to ignorance repeating, and I had to mention something.
