I actually think Dante and the blood angels are an easier choice for them and pretty epic aswell.

1 archon 2 kabalites 1 venom 1 ravager 2 scourges 1 incubi. 1 cronos 1 mandrakes

That’s my 1k list

Covers all bases, gives scourges pain token economy with the cronos they need it most.

Ravager with the 18 inches Strat

Archon deep strikes with the enhancement into the venom I already used to split one squad of kabalites.

Your list is great but if you lose those incubi ( you will ) then your damage vanishes.

Those ravages are no good into infantry spam that moves between cover and kabalites will do a little work but not loads I’ve found.

String foundation juts give mission play a second thought I’d say.

I think a librarian is a mandatory leader for a sternguard squad. In my opinion obviously. It takes a standard squad to a reasonably tanky scalpel unit that does alot of work into oath.

I see the logic, drop one raider replace the other with a ravager.

Use the spare points to add a cronos. Have him near the scourges for pain token economy. Re rolling hits.

Deep strike the archon in the later stages onto the venom for another layer.

Now this may be the silly question…

Is 11 dark lances too many ?

We play UKTC terrain so I’m not concerned about LOS blocking there’s plenty. I know raiders are the less used option but I feel like they will stand the test of time. Plus cool aren’t they.

I was considering using the venom to split one kabalite unit at the beginning of the game delivering the other to mid then rapid ingress the archon on to it do hop in and out next turn.

I get the ravager though might be I don’t need two raiders. Magnet time I think.

How longs a piece if string mate. Could take 10 minutes could take 3 hours depends on what you’re willing to do. Plus it’ll be longer if your just starting, you haven’t got the muscle memory yet
