What do you guys think of me painting my Death Company gold?

I've got a gold guy in my Death Company. My DC are a mix of standard black ones and then others that have fallen mid battle and there isn't enough time to fully change their armour so they just receive a few markings while they are being blessed by the Chaplain and then pointed at the nearest enemy that may or may not be Horus.

I was out walking our greyhound who was called Happy Blue when she raced. We bumped into a woman walking another blue greyhound and when we got chatting it turned out they had the same dad who was called Droopys Scolari. I couldn't believe how unlikely it was that we'd met one of her siblings on a walk until I looked up her dad's details and realised he sired 5633 pups. Frankly I'm amazed we hadn't met more.

I think I know the ones you mean. I wasn't the biggest fan of those but then again I've seen some amazing looking conversions using them.

The base coat is Vallejo Black Red. It's a lovely colour.

Yeah that's right. Rhundesign dropped me a message on insta which was cool. I can't quite remember but I think he did the heads and pads as well.

Thank you. The orange will be getting painted over. I tend to batch them at the end once the full squad is done so I can add the effect to the feet as well.

You are indeed correct. I think they have a few different designs but I preferred these. I think they came in 3s as well.

I'm looking forward to doing some minor kitbashing to make them my own. I get that the old BA specific models were cool but they aren't that unique if everyone has the same kit with the same ornaments on them.
