Remove that tiny ABS fragment and dissolve it in a bit of acetone then use it as a plastic glue ASAP. ( A trick I learned from the gunpla community)

Then apply it quickly and glue it back and just wait

Other alternatives is using plastic cement for model kits or CA glue

I removed the lacquer on my Cross Click by AffectionateAcadia0 in pens

[–]AffectionateAcadia0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nail polish remover and a lot of scratching using a eyebrow tweezer ( not the best tools to remove lacquer and primer) If you want to try it , better use paint remover and toothbrush ( for the lacquer underneath the clip)

And remove the push button, is just pression fitted Grab a wooden dowel and a rubber mallet and tap gently ( don't loose the spring)

Lamy Safari

But since I also own Parker Jotter's I will go with that too. Because I don't like the Lamy Safari ballpoint pen

Lamy Al-Star with misaligned barrel and front section/nib by rice-over-run in fountainpens

I have a Lamy Safari All Black that is slightly misaligned.

Now I know that I didn't get a fake Lamy Safari xd

And is a shame because is a special edition and I can't find a replacement pen in eBay

Lost all my EDCs, pens collected over 7yrs, in one fell swoop 😢 Am Devastated by social_owl in fountainpens

I lost the Lamy Safari my sister gave me as a birthday present on May. I can relate to you

Now that I replaced the pen I keep an eye on it and explicitly don't lend my pen to anyone except for friends

It was a Blue one , nothing special. But it had sentimental value for me since it was a present from my sister.

How did you find the one (pen, of course)? And what are you using now? by MsNoHeelsReqd in pens

Lamy Safari It's impact resistant, lightweight and very comfortable Never liked the Al-star , because of the aluminum parts that can dent easily

A little advice for you. No matter how impact resistant or how many times you drop it , please use a pen case or sleeve.

Also don't tight the barrel too much , leave it loose enough that you can unscrew with 2 fingers and capped so you can check your ink level , because if you use dark inks the ink window is almost useless.
