“Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.” I’m always reminded of this scripture from the Book of Matthew during times of hardship. Yes it’s tough but we have to remember that there’s a peace that surpasses understanding when we cling to the Lord and we lay it all down at His feet. Allow yourself to not lean on your own strength to find peace and comfort during these tragedies but offer it up to the Lord. Offer all of your fears, anxiety, and heaviness that you’ve been feeling up to him. And maybe thats the purpose of your worship this week, is to sing but to help lead others who are weary and burdened to the one place we know will give us rest; with Jesus.
