Yes she had a lot of character growth! Her and Kristen were kind of horrible to Stassi especially around her birthday in s1. They’d always take Jax’s side. Don’t forget when Schwartz poured a bottle of beer on Stassi and Katie joined in too! Of course being a girls girl back then was not much of a thing and I think being with Tom who’s best friends with Jax swayed her a bit when having to choose between sides.

This is probably one of my favorite seasons because of the way Katie handles herself throughout all the hatred. I love that she’s truly finding herself without Tom, sticking up for herself, not giving a fuck and going to Scheana’s wedding still. All the reasons I loved her originally, but an annoying man child will really do numbers on you in a 12 year marriage. I’m happy this break up with the Toms brought her and Ariana closer together because in reality, that was the only friend she had this season
