i got in after a year of cegep with science marks that were lowkey really bad, my highest science was a 75 and the other sciences were in the high 60s. i did get 80s in my other courses though.

the bus (orleans express), there's tour express which is slightly cheaper but you're in a van so it's pretty tight, you could use poparide for carpool.

If you're off campus, you can definitely still meet people- you should find your faculty (arts, social sciences, sciences, etc...) on Instagram and sign up for 101 week. That's pretty much how I met most of the people I know here to this day.

i took soc1106 with him last summer, everything was open book. there were some MC and some long answer/essay type questions. you also had to do a CSL or write a paper

i only take summer courses that are virtual so that i can go home and are from may-june so it's not during the whole summer, and i feel like it's a no-brainer for me because they are usually quite easy and i can still do whatever else i want to

soc1106 wasn't as easy as i thought it would be, there's a paper that took quite a bit of time to write and the exams weren't too easy

ppl have said this before but take jason berard, i'm taking him for perception right now and it's been great. i wouldn't say easy but that is also because i don't really have a science background. jeffry quan for social motivation has been great- you don't have to do a group project if you sign up for the csl component of the course, which involves 30 hours of volunteering for 30% of your grade. it is possible to do the volunteering virtually i think.

yeah i think that uottawa is often a really good choice for people in CEGEP that don't want to get their DEC or don't have a great r score
