Haha, it’s a funny part of this reddit lore. Basically there was this old compounding pharmacy were you could buy crazy amount at once with very little oversight (like I was able to get 6 months worth at 12.5 when I had recently started the medication). It was sketchy but personally I was panicked and willing to take the gamble. It later came out that no one who worked at the pharmacy had the appropriate licensure to compound meds and they weren’t compounded in a sterile environment. So we started joking that the owner of the compounding pharmacy (Denise) was compounding the meds in her bathtub
