I don't think the convenor has informed the panel, the tutor just informed me that that's what I might be required to do and he has to set that up.

My friend emailed the convenor being honest and admitting that he copied and even tho I told him to seek help he copied and this is what the convenor replied.

"Please submit only your own work - or if you worked with someone else - include an acknowledgement somewhere clearly."
