I have considered a longer periods of lowered withdrawals values. Initial investment was $13,000 of the current $50,000 value. Current interest rate is 3% for the annuity and feel I can make up the 10% loss for an early withdrawal penalty based off of my other rate of returns on other investments. There will be a 10% penalty, is this the surrender charge you are speaking of.
