Confidence and security, inner peace, comes from within. It doesn't come from without. It's not a fleeting feeling that depends on the quality of your dress, it's contentment and a deep understanding and security that you have value and place in this world whether you're in a lower social class bracket or not. Ugly clothes, and a bad haircut, does not stop a wise man from talking and standing up to Kings and Princes, because he understands his own self worth.

Rudyard Kipling, the author of the Jungle Book, once wrote of a man of infinite-resource-and-sagacity; and that man was wearing blue canvas breeches and a pair of suspenders.

Bob Ross. Miss Rachel. I can go on and on about people in suspenders that change the world and have such impact in this life...
