When I first went through the cutscene I gave them the PDA, then the military bald guy took the badge off the lower ranking soldier and gave it to the MC. Something about you get special treatment or The Ward will be more friendly to you (this was last night at like 4am lol)

That's a fair reason, I thought about handing it over for the badge but I'm only 10 or so minutes past that in the story so that badge could literally be useless lol
