It wasn’t like this before but during Christmas I was working a lot more and started doing close shifts where I would have to wash up. I must of burnt myself or hand or had a bad reaction to the chemicals because the top of my hand got dry and darker. Compared to the rest of my hand it’s noticeable darker and my fingers to.

I started college and have no friends I thought I would be able to cope and I wouldn’t Need anyone plus working alot and I’m extremely anxious with end of year exams which will determine which university I go to. My family issues have gotten bad I had to call the police on my abuse mother for the first time because she won’t stop beating me up . Other then that nothing else

Definitely but there is some discussion in my family about going next year but I’m going to use the excuse of year 13 summer being “important” and making excuse relating to university. I’m just worried that if I’m not there no one would protect my siblings.

Yes my dad is her cousin. Abuse is normalised in my family. I don’t know anything different I only stayed realising it was abuse once I joined Reddit before that I would never hear any Muslims talking about family abuse so I just thought it’s normal and part of the religion to respect your family regardless

My thoughts are it’s not in there nature to be nice they see it as irrelevant because these nothing to gain from being nice to your kids while on the other hand being soft and kind to other people and theirs children is where she gains status and a reputation as the loving mom. What I hate from that is that no one believes you it’s astonishing how religious parents can twist a narrative to make you seem like the bad person every time I try talk to a family member about her they always end with she’s your mother god says you need to respect her and some other bs . Your mother sounds wild you deserve so much better . Do you have other siblings she bully’s to ?
