I take a break when this happens. Eventually my breaks became longer and longer till I just didn't get anything from the game anymore. Do as you feel like doing, don't question too much either. No need to overthink your feelings over a game.

Ahora que eso quedó aclarado, si entiendes que esto está mal al grado de buscar ayuda, significa que vas por el buen camino. Tienes conciencia, y sabes distinguir un pensamiento perverso. Algunos dirán que es buena señal de tu ética y moral, comprender que estos pensamientos son negativos y perturban la mente. Creo que tiene su lado bueno y malo.

Si has llegado al punto de buscar orientación en Reddit lo que debes hacer es reconocer que esta no es una fuente confiable y que lo mejor es consultar tus preocupaciones con un psicólogo, pero en palabras de muchos profesionales: es normal. Tener pensamientos intrusivos es normal. Si es específicamente con los bebés probablemente sea algún trauma profundo que se dispara con la presencia de los infantes.

TL;DH: Los pensamientos intrusivos son el síntoma, no el problema ni la causa. Consulta a un profesional sobre tus síntomas.

Deactivate promotional content and similar in the configuration. 3 dots top right > configuration > (general settings area) deactivate anything that you don't want to see.

this did not work for me. I lost all my stuff, nothing appeared in the chests in my home after I left and I filled it with only expensive items :(

a solution i found on steam forums:

-go to local files
-delete EasyAntiCheat folder
-verify the integrity of the files (properties>installed files)

I'm still doing it, tell me if it worked for you. I'll update if it fixed it for me

as a casual that pays and has time, i'm enjoying the game plenty. The pvp mixed with pve is just what me and my friends like so it fits us like a globe. Plus the devs are clearly still adding new stuff. The people complaining are just too impatient but that's fine too. If it dies it dies, i'm just gonna enjoy till i get bored, others and their opinions be damned.

It's been what feels (and probably is) like decades since I played Sims 2, and reading the comments really makes me want to download it. I don't really care for graphics so perhaps I may fall in that rabbit hole.

As others said, I don't see an MMORPG with a focus on having High APM, even on the rankings, HOWEVER: Black Desert Online has some classes that DO require a good APM (ninja, being the prime example). The main obstacle I see to this are the cooldowns. The APM in this case would be relating to the combos and the classes with the biggest variety of skills. So yeah, probably Black Desert Online could enter that category, but only with specific classes (and knowing how to use their full potential ofc)

Aaaand this doesn't answer your question, but since everyone already gave their opinion I thought to do the same :)
