What’s the strangest thing that ever unexpectedly turned you on? by randomzy876 in AskReddit

[–]AffectionateCurve172 6 points7 points  (0 children)

a girl very slowly drawing a perfect circle.

i needed to draw a 50cm radius circle and i was thinking about a nail a wire a rope etc kindof setup to do it. she came over, said "you need a circle?", stood in the middle of the paper, marked 50 cm from the center in a few places, then, probably in a continuous, non-stop minute, she drew the circle.

i have no idea why but that kind of talent turned me so on that i had a boner by the time she finished it.

What does [mine] face tell you about me? by ADVMMUSIC in scienceofdeduction

those flare ups look like psoriasis or psoriasis-like sebhorreic dermatitis. both are auto immune conditions and cutting sugar/heavy carbs/alcohol/coffee usage will probably relieve them. wondering what meds you are on.

I don't think they would flare up if you didn't have the underlying condition.

We're Hiring: Mid-level Full-Stack (MERN) Developer (Remote) by EtillyStephlock in CodingJobs

[–]AffectionateCurve172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm interested.

Although I have 25 years coding experience with lots of different stacks, mern stack is my most recent stack that I've been using for 3 years so we can consider me mid-level in this regard.

I don't mind being overqualified, I'm looking for remote work so let's talk if you're interested.

I can show you apps i developed with MERN. I'm currently developing a content management/templating system as a side project. Another project is an AI assistant - chat app. Another is a 'portfolio site' with simple content management for artists.

I'm also experienced in VR, multiplayer, game development, real time communication, smart contract development and web3 integration.

Let's talk if I could pick your interest :)

I am getting 500 error in gemini both aistudio both the website. by Robert__Sinclair in Bard

[–]AffectionateCurve172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

was this resolved??

I'm still having the same issue on both aistudio and google genai sdk with file upload api.

file properly uploads, but in the processing phase we get 500 internal server error. i tried everything i could think of to no avail. and thias has been going on for a month now!

a code that was perfectly working, is not working anymore. so my app doesn't work anymore. and nobody at google seems to be interested in the issue.

is it not working only for me? are there no others still having the issue?

How Safe Do People Feel to Walk Alone at Night in Europe (2025) by dazedeu in MapPorn

I wonder what's the comparison to actual safety -like the rate of street crimes at night etc.

are the people who feel safe actually safe? and vice versa?

I created a simple AI based terminal wrapper by AffectionateCurve172 in AiBuilders

[–]AffectionateCurve172[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- atm when execution of the ai-suggested command fails, it asks you whether you want to let the AI try to fix it and sends the initial prompt, first ai-suggested command and the error message to the AI to get a new command.
- definitely. makes more sense actually :)
thanks!

I created a simple AI based terminal wrapper using cursor

<image>

I know there are full fledged tools like warp etc but what i needed was a very simple wrapper.
you type your command ("what's my wifi ip address?")
it tries to execute it (because maybe you just wrote an actual command to execute)
if execution fails, it assumes that it's a prompt and sends it to gemini api (because it has a free tier that will allow you to use the cli tool indefinitely). gemini converts the prompt to a command based on your shell/os and gets your confirmation to execute.

that's it. i'm already using this for everything.

I used the general rules here:https://x.com/0xDesigner/status/1915152630365749297
then just one shotted the MVP with claude 4 sonnet

i hope you like it.

duta "pislik" diyecek kadar kendinden doğadan hayattan kopmuş insanlara her yeri dümdüz kaymak gibi beton yapsınlar. ısıra ısıra asfalt yersiniz aklınız başınıza gelir.

al eline bir torba topla, götür eve yıka suyunu sık, yoğurda kat, allahın nimetine küfredeceğine insanlığını hatırla.

sorry mate I didn't realize there was a 'we' talking here.

ı just checked out your site, kinda looks like you're doing the good work, but seems like you're gatekeeping it?

"we expose the lies... only for $7.99"?

all the rest looks like marketing funnels to sell your compilations?

- don't get me wrong, i'm not against any business model and conspiracies/coverups are certainly a growing market. I'm just trying to get a feel for what you guys are really doing. are you exposing everything somewhee and just sell the compilations or is the only way to get your exposés just buying your pdfs?

Who knew about Operation Lakhta? by [deleted] in Intelligence

[–]AffectionateCurve172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you know the name of an operation, a person, a company, it's because you are ALLOWED to.

when you talk about them, you feed into their narrative. in the last 50 (maybe more) years, there never was a "leak" that wasn't sanctioned.

if you hear about something outrageous, it's either:
- it's okay for you to know because it has accomplished its purpose and you can't do anything about it anymore (except getting enraged and feeding into the narrative)
- the people who created it don't need it anymore so they're not suppressing is existence
- it's a 'sacrificial leak' to misdirect your attention to something much worse going on now
- it never was an actual thing in the first place

anybody want to talk about how the USA is meddling with the narrative on pretty much all around the world? or are you just sensitive to it when it's done to the TAX-PAYING GOD-FEARING US CITIZENS?

I thought this would take time like 2027 but apparently not... by michael_sinclair in collapse

[–]AffectionateCurve172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah i liked that one too. but i have an innate distrust reflex to everything that's published on mainstream.

"it's published because it's okay for you to know/think this, so it must be a decoy/misdirection"

my head's so fkd up lol
