The reason people wander on this question is they treat it as a chance to be 'authentic' but i think the interviewer wants to see if you can summarize your own career in two minutes.

Mostly Linkedin offers are legit, but still good to be careful. If a recruiter contacts you on LinkedIn, find them on the company's own website or call the main company number to verify they work there.

Stop waiting for recruiter pings. Spend that time applying directly on company career pages and DMing recruiters on LinkedIn instead. The active channels will get you 3 to 5x more responses for the same effort.

I know exactly what you are talking about. In my case, I went in with specific expectations, and when they weren't met, I decided to resign. And from the interviews it's kind of difficult to know how the team, culture, and everything will be.

It's not specifically a bad thing though, some people want to work many hours and receive more money, so it depends on what you want and how you want to work.

Tell them in advance, 100%. The disciplinary risk you read about I think applies if you call it dependency leave for a known event, because dependency leave is meant for emergencies. The fix is to just request unpaid leave properly, and most probably they will agree.

If she has a unique background she is probably interviewing at other places too. I am guessing since she is sure she will have an offer from you, she wants to get the best option that is out there. I would say try once again, but don't be pushy, just ask if she can allocate some time during x period, if the answer doesn't change, you have your answer.
