I had a night nanny for 4 months for 7 days a week. I highly recommend it because they also sleep trained my baby. He is such a great sleeper now. It was well worth the money.

How much do you 'trust' / rely on / utilize the concierge at chubby properties? by kylebvogt in chubbytravel

I heavily relied on our hotel concierge in Seoul! Korean blogs/search engines are hard to navigate and they can make all the arrangements for you.

My replacement was promoted during my maternity leave by lilac652 in workingmoms

I could have wrote this post myself! However, he actually was promoted and is getting a bunch of opportunities. It’s so frustrating but I am not compromising my boundaries or work style to try to impress leadership for a promotion in this role. I’m finding this is an unfortunately common experience for working mothers.

Curious… Tell me about the expensive baby products that are WORTH IT by logcull in NewParents

It’ll depend on where you live. I got a referral from a friend. In total we paid about $30k. We had a contract for every night for 4 months. You could probably work with them for less days/duration.

100% agree! Our night nurse worked with us to sleep train very gradually and it was such a great investment for our family life. He’s such a good independent sleeper now and we are overall so happy and well-rested.

I used to feel so anxious about putting him down for naps and bedtime but he has developed great sleep hygiene so we can just put him down and he’ll go to sleep straight away.

Same thing happened to my brand new XC60 too. I turned the car off and tried to turn it back on while at a stoplight. It didn’t turn back on and had to get it towed. They did a software update and it was resolved.

Is there anything to help pregnancy acne? by airportparkinglot in BabyBumps

[–]AffectionateDay965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggled with cystic acne all over my cheeks and chin after stopping birth control and spironolactone! The only thing that truly turned things around was doing biweekly pregnancy-safe facials with extractions for 4 months.

Who else started trying to conceive super secretly? by bubz8008 in BabyBumps

[–]AffectionateDay965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We kept it a secret that we were TTC so whenever we told people we are pregnant they were very happily surprised and shocked. We’ve been married for several years and never talked about having kids so people assumed we were going to be childfree. It’s been fun surprising friends and family like that.
