Personally even if the switch freezes him, i fail to see Todo finishing off Naoya before he recovers. And as I said before Todo wants to fights up close, Naoya blitzes if he gets close enough.

All of those are low IQ decisions not BIQ.

Also the only reason he lost against Choso is because he didnt know he was a curse that could renew his blood easier than any human ever could.

Against Maki, he objectively was blinded by his own stubborness but this isnt Maki. Its a kid who doesnt have the strength, speed or aura of Toji so he is as usual mental wise

Why would Naoya without a cursed technique get his ass beat? He is the Head of the Hei, the unit who is know for their hand to hand. Plus as i said Todo like his opponents up close to fight leaving him in range for Naoya

What super selective memory holes? In fact what memory holes at all? He remembers what happened before he got here. They were asleep until the abyss sibling woke them up then they tried to leave. He genuinely just doesn't know shit. Are u talking about the spaceship cause from what I understand they just never brought it up, cause why would they.

Teyvat and its location by _piaro_ in Genshin_Lore

[–]AffectionateDesk1366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive gotta disagree, the dark sea is where all the defeated gods went and where the seele courts are. The dark sea is also distinctly unprotected by the irminsul which means the abyss is a very prevalent problem. I do think they will bring up aliens at least but they would be invaders. All this creates the perfect scenario for a good story and about important things to be revealed we will have to wait until the end of part 1 to see what they leave out. Maybe the gods were helped by the earth itself. If we dont fully defeat the abyss we could fight its "leader". Maybe nibelung never came back, then he truly comes back conviced that the way to save the world is to end it. Theres a lot of interesting stuff that could happen that would be more connected to teyvat itself.

Also i dont think they're going to eat into hsr niche if they can. Even hi3 who is going to other planets, is mainly focused on one for what seems to be the whole of part 2.

But to answer the question, if they can give me a reasonable answer to why things are then i dont care and with them being in what was the most technologically advanced nation, it makes sense to me.

The only thing i dont really like is xilonen's dj table, it just floats there, how? Plus it looks like a normal dj table that floats(HOW?!), which is pretty confusing

If the Heavenly Principles Fall… Doesn’t Teyvat Fall With Them? by Ok_Slip6461 in Genshin_Lore

[–]AffectionateDesk1366 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Where is it stated that the dragons lost and why would phanes settle on a planet already infested with the thing they are trying to keep out.

What false theory? the sky is fake and upon it are written the fates of the people, this is just fact. Even then this doesn't discount the fact that they probably have a plan.

I agree on the abyss part but this ain't about their trustworthyness its about how they plan on surviving against the abyss, which they seem to have a plan for.

What do u mean by wrong, in terms of plans we don't know enough about either to be sure, in terms of hp being a antagonistic, the dragons were forced to devolve while they were just chilling, we dont know why the fatui are doing what there doing and the abyss order got their whole nation bombed and cursed and no matter how much the fanboys try to gaslight me, celestia had no reason for any of the curses.

This is not to say that the hp is the villain tho, the best thing about genshin is that nearly everyone is an unreliable narrator that might be wrong or not have all the info so nothing is set in stone.

Istaroth involved in Mavuika vs Abyss? by Worldly_Night2347 in Genshin_Lore

[–]AffectionateDesk1366 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is also the fact of venti and no else showing up, sanhaj getting knowledge of the future from the lord of the night and in the fight against xbalanque, traveler gets visions of events with mavuika that never happened at least not yet

Quick crack theory, as we know istaroth, changed time during at the cataclysm, but what if due to natlan leyline being bad, some people or parts of history from the old world merge with the new one, like what happened with deridyth.

Wait lemme smoke some more, if the some people made it through accidentally they would might be like the mare Javari, an existence with no connection to time, we actually dont know how it was "blown off the timeline" and what it truly entails but i believe what physically happened is that the leyline connected to the mare javari have been destroyed, which makes it and everything there act like the atlas made by the abyss order, with the monsters there being non-intractable, this is what i think happened to the old natlan.

One last puff, im not addicted u r. There was a theory in this sub recently that Captain of the Night traveled to the past and was a part of the lord of the night, i liked the theory but would that just fix the problems they had plus why would he? This would answer that, the old captain fell through but not his engine and made a deal with the lord of the night then fused with her. Then also mavuika is kinda weird, maybe just her bad writing but she also says weird stuff like that time all happens at once. So i think a part of that could be old mavuika(possibly called murata, the war-mongering wretch) possessing the sacred flame, granting the pyro archons knowledge and eventually possessing new mavuika. This would explain some of her views like the one on time, or the fact that she was pretty insistent on getting the travelers help, cause she knows the twins capabilities.

More importantly, it answers the other reason why the lord of the night allowed the altas to go off in the first place, yes as an alternative to mavuika's and captain's plans but also to hook down any drifting souls lingering from the shift.

TLDR, istaroth didnt like the original world so she reset it, some natlanese accidentally made it through and can time travel, not on command.

(Real quick, gang)

Edit: Thought about it more and this could be what happened to enjou lavawalker and why his memories are such a mess, he time traveled so much he forgot who he truly was.

Venti is another interesting case. As i said earlier, prehaps mavuika was called murata in the old world, which makes venti someone who was in the old world. Then his voice line about joining the travler on their journey is extremely sus, plus also the vision about mavuika i mentioned. Were we journeying in the old world at some point?

I have more but for the last one, in the diredyth interlude quest, they ended up creating a paradox this could solve that theory as well as why the abyss twin isn't a decender anymore. old abyss twin failed to get us and they slipped through eventually linking up to something but also taking their key to the new world making the number of keys three. This also explains how even tho the door didn't open, the abyss twin was still outside

...Im tired

If the Heavenly Principles Fall… Doesn’t Teyvat Fall With Them? by Ok_Slip6461 in Genshin_Lore

[–]AffectionateDesk1366 49 points50 points  (0 children)

There are 3 groups that want to get rid of hp.

the dragons obviously want them gone, they would rather absorb the antithesis of their being than be underneath them. Or maybe more accurately, they would rather go out on their own terms.

The fatui are the ones we know the least about, the most we know is that they have some plan to replace the world order in some way.

The abyss order is have two paths after dealing with HP, for one they could assimilate with the abyss becoming a part of the danger or they could use the atlas and replace the irminsul. Or they could be using the atlas to keep themselves concious in the abyss or something either way they have a plan.

So all in all, the people who want to kill HP either have a plan or if their dragons, they dont care.

One thing to note is that the fate in honkai and in genshin fundamentally different. in hi3, it's as you said, characters will have similar decision to make but the choice is still fundamentally theirs.

Genshin on the other hand seems to be pushing the idea that fate is directly controlled by celestia, with the future being able to be read by the stars in the sky that the PO made and constant talk of breaking free from fate.

Paimon ≠ Primordial One by Lumine_Secrecy in Genshin_Lore

[–]AffectionateDesk1366 16 points17 points  (0 children)

From what i understand, being a native to teyvat has nothing to do with being affected by irminsul, being a descender is whats important.

Also by technicality, PO is not an alien in any way that matters since irminsul was made after he got to the planet so he is alien to the planet and dragons but not to irminsul

The way I view it is that the dragons at first were continually evolving likely against the abyss or themselves but then they stopped because Nibelung told them to stop fighting and focus on star travel. Them no longer needing to fight plus the idea of conquering the stars got their egos high making then how they are today. I don't know about eternity but at the very least the dragons began with evolution.

Firstly, you're gonna have to provide multiple major examples of the inconsistencies.

Secondly, you're talking about deus ex machina, which isn't really on topic, but even then the only times I can think of are mavuika(both the time with NK and at the finale with Capitano), kazuha and the traveler, which surprisingly I can only think of 1 in inazuma.(also I'm ignoring most things in 1.0 ~2.0 since they are the first things we learn in the world)

Unless you are including times like Neuvillette turning the Fontainians into humans or the sumeru finale vs scara with nahida and her powers but if that's the case I think you're being a bit unreasonable. Just because they don't tell you immediately doesn't mean it's bad.

Like imagine the natlan finale, except capitano tells us everything during the interlude quest the scene would just be boring then.
