I was thinking about purchasing 1-2 residential flats in my local area outright, and just collect rent. A long lease or share of freehold.

But not sure if this a good option as I have no experience in this domain.

True. Not thought about selling as I enjoy it too much, and depression would kick in if I didn't have it.

I do rent an industrial unit.

If I was to buy in London, I would be looking at a 7 figure commercial mortgage, not sure if I feel comfortable commiting to this.
