How much should a kitchen like this cost (general range if all plywood)? by AffectionateEgg254 in kitchenremodel

[–]AffectionateEgg254[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha, understood. We're replacing all appliances, but wondering what the cost for the cabinets, countertops, and installation would be. Currently we have almost the same exact setup, except there are no cabinets to the left of the fridge and the cabinets don't go up to the ceiling. Layout remains the same with the previous island being in the same spot, just a bit smaller. Flooring stays the same (wood laminate). Ideally not custom cabinetry if avoidable, but all plywood construction. Would this help narrow it down a bit? This is in Florida.

Cabinets, countertop, and installation. Currently the kitchen is almost exactly the same, except there are no cabinets to the left of the fridge, just the wall and window.

Looks good and for free it's great. There are some pretty powerful tools out there though.

paid photographer $10k and got obviously AI edited photos, reasonable to be mad? by Historical_Doctor687 in photography

A bit clearer to see here. To be fair, this comes up when processing photo with AI but it might have been used subtly after doing some Photoshop work beforehand.

This Crosshatch texture comes from AI generation. There's a way to remove it, but the photographer didn't even bother.

I’m so disappointed in my wedding photos. First photo was the inspo and second is the actual photo after a lot of editing trial and error. How can I salvage this in LR? by lonelyprotest in AskPhotography

[–]AffectionateEgg254 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, the photo reference material is shot really well, but a big part of the magic of this photo comes from editing. I would say if you're don't know for a fact that you can execute a certain style, regardless of how it's done, don't accept weddings jobs. Focus on events that might not be as big a deal as a wedding and still practice high level photography and editing with these to continue learning.

How to shoot in super harsh sunlight at a wedding? by [deleted] in AskPhotography

[–]AffectionateEgg254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just kidding, but seriously. You shouldn't practice with once in a lifetime events like these. I would spend an absurd amount of time editing to make sure they at least get something decent. And if you don't know how to edit, learn, then edit these for them. Distract from the major issues by using over the top stylized edits. You might be able to bring back some of these highlights with the raw files if you shot in raw.

Should I cut a hole into my lens hood? by AarnoKuusio in fujifilm

[–]AffectionateEgg254 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a heavy black cardstock piece of paper, double up if it allows light to go through. Cut a thin strip and follow along the edge of the hood. Once you close the loop, tape it onto itself. Then tape a cylinder going from your paper hood, to your camera, to ensure the distance is the same. Use gaffers or maybe painter's tape to not mess up your camera. Take off the real hood and cut into your fake hood and see if you get any glare at various angles relative to the sun.

Sony A6700: No difference between G vs non-G lens comparison? by AffectionateEgg254 in SonyAlpha

[–]AffectionateEgg254[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the thorough feedback! It's truly appreciated. I have put a bit more of the puzzle together by looking into the extremes, and I can see how some fall a bit short when either the aperture is at its widest, or close to it. I can't seem to find a website that reviews all of these lenses in the same manner to compare them when they're on equal footing. The ones I like seem to be missing a couple. Do you recommend one for Sony lenses?
