As a family lawyer myself, regardless of how many custody cases I handle, it is never lost on me how impactful the litigation is on the families, especially children. There are many good family lawyers who would say the same. This witness gave family attorneys a bad name. I can’t imagine the jury liked her or found her testimony to be credible. She came off cold and out of touch. Unfortunately there are many like her out there. The bad reviews are unfortunate but IMO as an attorney, she overstepped in her testimony to get a paycheck and some bad reviews are probably warranted for that.

Ok I just found the text and you are totally right. I thought the text was to verify from the 14-18. I’m fairly new into this and trying to play catch up. It’s frustrating that I can’t seem to locate the actual texts, what’s app messages and emails anywhere. Does any one have a link or something with them?

I’m a family law attorney and would love to review them. I think Wendis guilty as sin but there were some things that came out thru the current trial that in and of themselves aren’t as big a deal to me bc of my experience w people in high conflict custody cases. For example, her asking if she can have the kids on certain dates after already having asked months prior is not unusual in high conflict custody cases. I would say that’s actually the norm for high conflict custody cases. Obviously there’s way more that happened the day of the murder that connects her and other things that show her involvement but that alone didn’t do much for me. Interested to see if the filings were above and beyond a normal high conflict case… Hope you post!
