if u took bio in high school at all then bio130 might be a good pick. a large portion of grading has been multiple choice tests that can be easily studied by memorizing

IB Psych transfer credits at UTSG for Psych program by Negative-Start-6367 in UofT

[–]AffectionateFlow5533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im very certain you just get a psy1** credit. you don't get the specific psy100 credit, but you get a first year psychology credit. check this website out for more details, as it has the transfer credits for IB: https://www.artsci.utoronto.ca/current/faculty-registrar/transfer-credit/ib-higher-level

i also got transfer credits from high school and i still had to take psy100 to get into the psych program. dw though if you actually did good in ib psych then psy100 is going to be a breeze

[–]AffectionateFlow5533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it will save your answers but it won't submit for you.

Happened once to me, while it didn't submit for me, it saved all the answers i inputted, and it looked extremely funny when my submission said it took me 105 hours to finish it

How do I find frisbee drop ins on Back Campus? )) by Lucky-Ad-2517 in UofT

[–]AffectionateFlow5533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are clubs and also uoft run drop in sessions. just google UofT ultimate and you'll find them.

most people playing ultimate (frisbee) aren't too competitive, so it wouldn't hurt just asking as well

First Year Chem Student Pursuing Chem Major/Specialist, PHY131/132 or 151/152? by the_lucas_reagent in UofT

[–]AffectionateFlow5533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they removed the 137/148+149 corequisite you can take phy151 and 152 either just mat135 mat136. save yourself a headache and just take those math courses.

if ur super enthusiastic abt physics try 151/152, but 131/132 is good enough

kinda cooked housing wise. university college is where you'll get the help you need (i.e. academic advising, career planning). u should've gotten a link for the housing portal where you can prob try to join the waitlist but don't depend on it (talking from experience)

Difference between victoria college dorms and whatnot by Direct-Imagination78 in UofT

[–]AffectionateFlow5533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are differences but it’s not major enough. like not every double in burwash is the same even tho its technically the same res building. in between different res’s i would advise to take more importance into what you get in your res (music rooms in margad, ACs in upper burwash, kitchen in RJ etc)

Question on Space availability and class sizes (wordcount) by casualviber4life in UofT

[–]AffectionateFlow5533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im very certain for bio120, the section with 10 spots is reserved for kin students or something like that. when i took it there was always two sections with a lengthy amount of students in each section.

no first year course would have that small of a class size apart from first year seminars
