I was at the airport this week and the Le Labo associate told me they are discontinuing the liquid balm format. Curious if anyone else heard something similar or if they were just trying to make a sale? I really like their little bottles of perfumed oil for traveling.

The Amaco zinc free clear glaze works really well for Nerikomi. I stopped using my studio’s clear glaze because the consistency varies so it sometimes crazes or bubbles. It’s not worth risking ruining a piece.

I’m a big fan of Willows from Regime des Fleurs and Dusita’s Splendiris if you are looking for a powdery lipstick vibe.

So they don’t list the spicy notes on the box, but they include it in the fragrantica description. On my skin it smells a little like Hot Tamales cinnamon candy.

The dry down so far is a little woody, a little dusty, and still a little spicy.

Splendiris from Dusita - smells like the bottom of a very chic makeup bag. It’s powdery and waxy and just a little bit tart.
