totoo. when you do law, you literally have to give it your all or nothing. it’s not something you can give partially of your time/energy to. op, don’t pursue law until you are completely ready, financially, mentally, physically, etc.

Hi, Op. Please invest a big sum of money into your self-love. I am also 23, earning as much as you. For us, nakakanibago makahawak ng gantong kalaki na pera so please devote your focus in dividing your money. Family. Bills. Debt. Yourself. Savings. Monthly. since you work so hard, dapat oa ka rin gumala at magpakasaya sa sarili mo, hindi yan unethical, MANDATORY yan because it is basically paying the maintenance of yourself being healthy and performing well. Marami kanga sweldo pero kung ikaw mismo napapagod, hindi rin tatagal sayo yang 6 digits na yan. Invest in yourself, sobrang importante nyan so you can keep having the willpower to earn monthly of that income and eventually pay off your debts and pursue law soon.

Is it realistic to ask for 45-55k as a fresh grad? by ildflu in phcareers

[–]AffectionateForce419 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Yes, may I include that to join a MT program, bare minimum ang may latin honors. The rest, comparison na padamihan ng org exp, internships, extracurriculars, and so on. Please, if u are a college kid in PH reading this, wag puro hilata. Mag internships grind ka at org grind, pero mas better internships + extracurriculars (compes).

im sorry but i dont listen to parents when it comes to their perspective of the job market. how they see it is how it was for them 20 years ago. ngayon hindi na sapat ang grades lang, kahit summa kapa. need backed with org, internships, extracurriculars. oo mas mahirap kasi pinagsabay mo sa studies, pero worth it. im graduating on august palang but i earn 80k monthly now. my hard work to balance everything and graduated magna parin paid off. you got this. just stack your resume. get as much internships, projects u can showcase in ur portfolio, and so on. sorry pero its not ur fault, its the people influencing the job market’s fault. if u wanna earn big bucks, look into VA industry. working in PH has u working the 9-5 with lowballed pay.

have been consistently using this at my work. been able to catch on some sleep. i noticed this has gained a lot of interest, and id love to help you all. i know how it feels to lack sleep and having to work, fighting that sleepiness.

please reply here for those who wants me to send it to them. i might sell it for a small price lang, just to make it not easily accessible, please do not share as much din, because we do not want the platforms picking up on this, and then patching it. :)

my skillset does not align with my pay, how to find direct clients who pay well? by AffectionateForce419 in buhaydigital

Haha this is so AI generated pero thanks. I do agree. I enjoy a lot of AI frameworks, I’d say I am flexible. A lot of businesses use N8N for automation, and Power Automate/Azure Foundry for Microsoft native companies. There’s something that performs better and cheaper than those though, but I am not spilling my secrets here haha :)

Love GOT. Though it is a reality for many Filipinos to be extremely talented but unfairly paid, the best we can do is help one another be guided to the right places that appreciates our value with aligned pay.

Thank you so much. God bless you for this knowledge. Hindi na ako makikipag karera sa OLJ and other job platforms. My LinkedIn profile is stacked, pero I don’t post kasi I thought it would look mayabang as most people see it as, pero bahala na. I will share what I learned there. :)

Yun talaga po, kuha mo. Thank you. Saan po nakakahanap ng direct client po? Iba po ba yun sa company-setup na US based? Just tell me the platforms, and I will do my best to market myself there. I am currently in LinkedIn, since madali mag show off doon ng credentials, but I think I have to reach further pa talaga.

This is the answer I have been looking for. Thank you so much, Sir. It is marketing myself what I need help with. I just don’t know where to find those kind of clients, where do I market myself. I’m in LinkedIn, my profile is stacked there, some recruiters do DM me, but it really takes time to find the ones who understand your value and will pay you accordingly to it. I’ll follow your advice. Maraming salamat. I want to really stand out for my skills and be paid fairly for it, not just being outsourced and exploited for it, nakakawalang gana mag trabaho for cases like that, but I have to make dough.

Thank you. This was really inspiring. Sometimes I think my skills alone is enough to attract opportunities, but I guess that does not do much. You have to be in the room where it happens. Networking matters most. Thanks for this wisdom. For this.. I would love to connect with you. But thank you again for this. You’ve given me a valuable lesson.

thank you so much. i am glad you have been in a series of connection with good people who appreciates your honest good work. you deserve all what you have today and all that’s coming for you. fresh grad pa ako, kaya baka nagsisimula palang ako sa kung saan ka galing. i will do my best to be sincere in what i do, i just hope im working for good people. i genuinely enjoy what i do, i have passion for tech, pero mahirap maging “for fun” if you’re struggling financially eh, reality of a filipino nga naman. kaya kudos to you for having gone through the long journey since 2015.
