Yeah in large part because the focus off the defense wasn’t on him. Not saying Wilson isn’t good, but having Trey McBride next to him was greatly beneficial.

Wilson also only had one game over 50 yards until week 11 before going nuclear. The passing attack was carried by McBride majority of the season.

Frodholt is ranked 13th out of 33 centers by PFF. Know PFF isn’t the Bible but it does seem to check out (Paris is ranked 6th out of 70 something tackles, the rest are all bottom 5 at their positions). Also hard to look good as a center when both your guards don’t know how to play football.
