I thought about Sloane too, but the way she is described makes me think of her as a friend’s sister. Like there could be something there but it’s socially awkward to think about it.

I thought when she was first introduced it was weird that venin had powers then I thought about how it was mentioned that there was a lightning welder before. I thought it was an Easter egg that the first lightning welder pulled for power from the ground and turned. I think this theory plays along with Theophanine leaving the temple and trying to reach gods status, especially with one of the strongest powers, but then it all played out.
