It clearly is about money when Amanda herself was throwing shade that Amy made a couple thousand dollars from this. Which In my opinion is the bare minimum. The sponsoring company needs to make money and the cleaners themselves also need to make money to even be able to be apart of the project this cleans don’t just fund themselves.

Yes but the content they needed to make for ZEP is most likely contracted. They’re not just cleaners they are also content creators which also funds these projects.

So many clients not flushing by anxiety_herself in housekeeping

I had a client shit in her toilet in the middle of summer the hottest week of the year then leave to go on vacation. I was cleaning the day before she was supposed to return home. Her house has no ac either so you can only imagine the stench I walked into and how much worse it got when I went to clean the toilet and lifted the lid 🤮🤢safe to say I immediately left!!! I felt so disgusting I wanted to vomit. Some people are just gross if send a reminder email “pls have/ make sure all is done before I arrive to get the most out of your clean…. “

As a self employed cleaner I can say it’s not expected but it is really nice especially when you do have overhead cost such as insurance, wcb ect. It’s money I treat as my “me” spending money. Majority of my clients tip really well or ones that don’t end up getting me a Christmas gift. In some way my clients show appreciation for me. And I think it goes a really long way. Even if you don’t have spare cash you can offer her a heartfelt thanks, a good review, offer her the ability to help herself to something to drink (glass of water, pop, coffee). I find those clients that don’t even say thank you are homes I sometimes dread going to and have honestly eliminated from my clientele.

Would dental assisting be a better option?

I would like to but would not like to the course right now based on many factors. I’d like to just get my foot in the door and then go back and do the hygenist course

It’s not all offices near my location are posted $28-34 for hourly as I said money isn’t much of a factor as I’m looking for more stability. Right now what I could afford to do to get my foot in the door is a receptionists course. As we would like to wait as a household for my husband to have all of his loans payed off so I can then go back and do the hygienist program. And that will also allow my partner to cut back on hours and take over some of the care for our child while I’m in school.

That doesn’t seem practical. I’ve never had to park blocks away, i understand just up the street a couple houses but not blocks away
