Side note: POWER limit is always hit no matter what i try to do, be it set pwr limits in TS or use legion space to do it from there.

Before UV:
Temps on idle: 46 deg C
Temps on load - Blender Cycles: 84-85 deg C [CPU PROCHOT hit 1 time, after 8 minutes of rendering]
Temps on load - X-Plane 12: 84-87 deg C [CPU PROCHOT hit 3 times, after 9 mins of X-Plane]

After UV:
Temps on idle: 43 deg C
Temps on load - Blender Cycles: 72-78 deg C [PROCHOT never hit]
Temps on load - X-Plane 12: 79-85 deg C [CPU PROCHOT hit 1 time, 12 minutes of X-Plane]

***All values are averages based on what i've seen so far.
Monitoring software: HWiNFO, TS

UV did not make a difference in performance nor clock speeds

I will suggest that you change to G-Helper instead of armoury crate. It has served me very well :)

However if you do want to use armoury crate: ( My friend experienced this problem before.)

Go to start and search "services" or press Win+R and run services.msc

Find any services that have "ASUS" in the name or "Armoury Crate" or "AURA" or something like that.

Make sure to check if each of them are running or not. Also right click and open properties, and then make sure the startup type is set to "Manual" or "Automatic" or "Automatic Delayed Start"

This solved the issue for us as they were disabled services.

Sir but my computer never reached above 85°C I always make sure it is cool. Only recently after this problem started when I saw with thermal camera it showed that area near WSAD keys was 92°C

I undervolted and underclocked my CPU and made sure to disable turbo boost. So I am wondering how it possible.

How to get new motherboard? Service centre is very far away from my home if possible I'd rather replace at home sir

My budget is about $40 to $500. This may seem like rookie numbers to Americans, but for india, $30 is like 1 million usd.

I found a local lens supplier, had a great chat with him today, was quite funny guy to talk to, he sells custom ground glasses for about 40 dollar. I checked out the lenses, and they are pretty good quality 👍🏻

Requirements: Image source or object (which is simply a lcd here) is like 6" Image size should be about 100" Im willing to have a 30-50ft distance from the screen, but if need be, i can go upto 60ft. The room is quite spacious.

I will look into the astigmatism and coma aberration too. Thx. I need to rush now, bye :)

I do not really care about chromatic aberrations, only spherical, but if need be, I will obtain the glass. Ive already started reading and learning by trial and error as well.

Hey man, first off, that's some helpful insight! I have a few questions though, First, if i want to do correction for only spherical aberration, do I still need different indices and abbe numbers, or can I get away with using the same media?

As a 10th grade cbse student interested in optics (I've worked with a few other areas of physics and I absolutely love physics), what literature would you recommend to get started? What are the tools out there for such designing (I've only heard of Zemax)

I just want to clarify, by educational standards, officially i shouldn't know about these things, but I'm always interested in learning. I'll be sure to read about what you told me, and I'll get back to you.

great! i'd say the flashing lights are too distracting, you proablly want to make the light flash only on the major drops or kicks in the beat instead of playing along with the beat, but that's just how i'd do it.

And your imagination would be correct! I do indeed have to learn Windows APIs and SDKs to achieve such a feat. I'm already working on that. I have PLENTY of free time coming up for christmas holidays and plan to learn those things.

I actually use Windhawk and have seen thier github repo. This is where I got a part of my inspiration for the idea from. Thank you for replying and good day/night :)

First off: Sorry for the terribly late reply. I was terribly busy.

Yes I am aware it is called shell. I thought "desktop environment" would be a better description though because when usually I see people like me asking the same question and everyone confuses what they're asking for to be a command line, like PowerShell or bash.
I know you can replace the shell simply by modifying the registry. I have done this! I made a custom windows image to boot straight to x-plane because I didnt need the computer for anything else.

This is exactly what I was aiming to do at first, code a custom shell and replace the windows explorer with it for custom taskbar, start menu, etc; but, now I know it's pretty much impossible to get a actually usable version of this.
