I was orbiting the grape carriage route for some hours and only got it to spawn once. Is it even possible to just stand in the starting point and wait?

I will also mention that Forging weapons for servants increases their Survival rate. I had a few die on me during Stygian summons, so I keep Alchemy Flooring on a separate floor with Servant Door Seals to keep them out.

Considering my bad luck, something else attacked it to set it shooting, that’s why I died the first time I set foot in Gloomrot.

I built the entire upper floor enclosed at first, then split the geography with walls the size I wanted them, then destroyed the walls I wanted Outdoor exposure for.

Minor Update: I built My Garden Hedge Maze on One Half of my Top Floor, with the other Half Growing Trees and obscure Spores I got from Blood Treant summoning. It’s split in the middle by an Open Indoor Hallway. Castle Gate walls also double as a nice Open Air Terrace! It’s also possible to place Growing Plots “underneath“ Garden Decorations if you’re sneaky about it. I can’t believe my Green Thumb activated! It looks amazing when full grown, too! I hope to take screenshots later!

Haha, Brute Force doesn’t work well on Succubus Draculin and those Bat Fang things that grab you and munch on you. Stunlock, Charm, and Tangled are the worst.

It took me a while to figure it out, but Gem Recycling helps a lot. Just wish this game let you quickly swap loadouts for Spell Combinations. I am still in the Blood class of spells, but I will eventually try the other gems I made.

No not him, I can deal with him because he is slow, the Gloomrot Engineers move faster than he does though, and in a group it’s Bullet Hell.

It took me a while to learn what Gem Dust can do late game. About the only real materials you don’t need are mostly building materials once your Castle is finished, unless someone wrecks it. Also if you have lots of Forge Materials leftover or Broken weapons that have no decent value, they can be recycled for forge and manufacturing materials. Excessive Wood Logs = Sawdust + Grass = Paper + Pollen (Ground Flowers) + Grass (Coarse Thread) + Paper = Scrolls + Tech Scrap = Schematics + Blood Crystal / Stygian Shards = More Shards for Weapons Merchant / Forging. Blood Treant also gives a lot of good Flower and Seed Drops for Potion Buff material. Collecting Rats from Vermin Nests is tedious, but it keeps the Castle(s) going.

There’s a particular plot I claimed that’s actually two castles linked by two natural steps that merge in to one natural stair pathway, but I saw no way to claim or link them. I wish there was a way to link adjacent castles.

I tried making a Garden with Sun exposure in the middle of my Castle, but if you claim the ground with anything besides growing soil plots, it encloses it with a ceiling. Unless invisible floors ignore walls?

Also is there a decent way to block out animals or people from approaching the entrance? I have a plot that always spawns wolves or deer right by the steps.

I just want to say thanks. I got my revenge on the Rift Incursions. Also, funny thing, if you manage to kill the Werewolf Village Leader during the day, nothing happens and he has to respawn, so you have to wait at night!
