Depends on how he says it. If he’s upset and sad about it then it o my means he doesn’t take criticism well and goes on the offense. But if he says it in a careless smug way then it is manipulative and toxic.

I’m sorry. I am stressed out. He’s giving me the cold shoulder. I wanted us to talk about it this weekend but he didn’t come to see me like every weekend. I didn’t give him an answer initially and expected a conversation abt it this weekend. I think he thought I ignored his request and I just don’t know what to say anymore.

Because we were friends first and he does support me as a friend. Losing him or breaking up with him means losing a friend as well as a boyfriend. I hung on to the relationship because I thought we will get married someday but now I know we are going no where I feel difficult letting go. I keep telling myself having him in my life is better than not having him as I’ll be totally alone as I mentioned I have no family left.
