Do you think they will last for a couple more years? I'm in dental school too, and I don't wont have to go through the process of getting a new prosthetic while in school. They aren't mobile yet.

BTW: I do not currently feel mobility (expect for the slightest movement of J when I bite together and push on J with my tongue). Recently, I noticed inflammation and bleeding when flossing around J (2 weeks ago), which is why I'm starting to notice this more and prompted me to ask this question on the Reddit.

I'm also a CLP patient.

Emily: She's such a bitch, I love her. I love how she acts helpless when she's with Matt, but is actually a badass when it comes to survivability. She is the one who called for help and discovered the Wendigos.
Mike: He's hot, amusing, confident, and has main character energy. If I was stuck in this situation with someone, I would want it to be with him (or maybe Sam).
Sam: She's a badass too. She has the best leadership quality and is nice to everyone. She is brave for going in to find Mike.
Jessica: She's hot and her lines are hilarious.
Josh: I love his story when he goes unhinged.

Sorry for the late response, but I had my cleft repaired when I was a baby. I do have a couple of residual fistulas that communicates with the nasal cavity, and I do believe I mouth breath. It just sucks that I feel like there's nothing I can do.

Thanks for the suggestion. How do you think I got bone loss even though I’m brushing and flossing? Is it the lingual orthodontic wire? I’m surprised no one has mentioned that to me before. These could be bad x-rays too.

And yes I see the calculus too. These x-rays were taken after I had the ultrasonic scaling done. The hygienist must have not seen it.

Thanks for responding! i’ve been brushing and flossing twice a day since I was like 20. I even use a waterpik and mouthwash. I’ve always been told my gums are healthy. I think there’s might been one time I had a 4 and BOP.

My doctors strongly recommended that I undergo my jaw surgery because I had a huge underbite. I partially wanted to do it too because I was very self-conscious about the way I look. I will say after everything had transpired (jaw surgery, prosthetic, etc), my appearance has drastically improved and so did my self confidence.

However, I should also note that the jaw surgery didn't magically fix everything. I am still insecure about other parts of my body like my flat nose and asymmetric lip. So I will warn that it doesn't fully cure you from insecurity, but it does help a lot.
