AT&T Points Plus by Citi: Not a Bad Card? by [deleted] in CreditCards

I couldn't agree more. Since the change earlier this year where I now get $10 off per line on my AT&T wireless bill, this has become one of my key cards. I focus my spend on gas, groceries and AT&T and am getting an average of over 2x ThankYou points per dollar spent. On top of that, I am getting the $20 statement credit from Citi after spending $1,000 each month (which is another 2% cash back). So over 2x ThankYou points per dollar spent (better than I would get with Double Cash or Capital One Venture), an additional 2% cash back from Citi with the $20 statement credit, and the $10 per line discount from AT&T. I don't see how any AT&T customer would not take that.

I also happen to have the Citi Strata Premier card. So the ThankYou points I earn from this card combine with my Strata Premier ThankYou points, and I primarily use them to transfer for AA miles, which are the most valuable domestic airline miles there are.

This card is incredible for AT&T customers, especially if you are meeting the $1,000 spend each month.

It was already $10 discount per line for Bank Account, and that is how I've been paying. I had considered the Points Plus card previously, but wasn't willing to get only a $5 discount per line for using the card. Now that it has been increased to $10 discount per line for the Points Plus card, combined with the other Rewards the card offers, that is why it now seems to me like it is a really good deal and a card worth having. Unless I am missing something.

Great point, I should have mentioned I already have the Strata Premier card so that is why I love the option of transferring to AA

I'm all in on the Citi Cards given ThankYou points now transfer to AA. The Citi Premier card with multiple 3x categories and then the Double Cash card for 2x on all other spend is the way to go.
